is skating on thin ice. I understand Entertainment will never die and music will always be here but gone are the days when a local artist could actually survive off just being artist. You gotta be your own producer, photagrapher ( cameras have timers, ha ha ), you gotta be a jack of all trades. 9 outta 10 bands are unsigned living off below average incomes. Money is an issue and in many situations lack of it can and will keep a very talented band or artist from reaching thier potential. Not being able to afford a publicist, manager, ad space , flyers, marketing firms etc ???
